We have all heard of bad cholesterol and it’s caused by eating too many eggs. Actual it’s low density lipoprotein (LDL) which also known as bad cholesterol that effects your cardiovascular system by building plaque along blood vessel walls that leads to heart attacks. The body actually produce cholesterol by way of the liver and about 20% of the body cholesterol comes from food. Low density lipoprotein may decrease your blood flow and clots may form. Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States of America. The body actual needs and uses cholesterol. Your body actually use cholesterol to build cells. Every cell in your body needs cholesterol to survive. High density lipoprotein also known as good cholesterol is what is preferred for good health. It is said the (HDL) carries (LDL) away from the blood vessels back to the liver to be broken down as waste and passed through the body.
