Being fit in my own term is being able to participate in any physical activity with no physical restraints or drawbacks. I prefer to train using minimal weights as possible and focus on movement being efficient. Body weight exercises are the best exercises and has been scientifically proven to make your bone more dense. The more efficient you move the less energy you burn.
Stretching is vital for your flexibility and also helps your blood flow throughout the body as well.
Balance is something that we take for granted and will become more difficult as life goes on.
Reactive (plyometrics) is great way to burn more calories as well as preparing the body for movement in all directions and strengthen your muscles.
Calisthenics body weight exercises that makes your bones stronger than resistance training. Also builds more endurance and preparing the body for realistic movement.
Resistance Training is great for enlarging the muscles in the body as well as shaping your body. The most common way of exercising and plentiful techniques for workouts.
Cardio cardiac(Heart, blood, & vessels). Majority of the muscles in the body can be made stronger. The stronger the heart gets the less it has to work to pump/stroke blood throughout the body. Less damage to the blood vessels in the body the easy work for the heart. Cardio training does exactly that make your heart stronger and preparing for longer life of living. Of course what you eat plays a major role as well.
